# 38th Street Bathroom

## Timeless appeal with customized features

### A contrast of materials

The attic's transformation introduced two additional bedrooms, a fresh roof deck, and this shared bathroom. The marble tiles on the bathroom floor and countertops contrast with the timeless appeal of white subway tiles, elevating the bathroom's elegance. The chrome fixtures provide the perfect finishing touch, adding a gleam that elevates the space.

### Creative problem solving

Placing the shower next to the chimney was a unique challenge because the homeowners wanted to keep the charming, pie-shaped windows. To solve this, we cleverly used privacy film on the windows and created a cozy seating area, perfectly combining function and style.
