We had a wonderful experience with Smiley Renovations. Daren provided a very clear and detailed estimate for our hallway bathroom renovation. We then worked with Marvin, who managed our project beautifully. He set clear expectations about communicating any concerns or problems we might encounter along the way and was always very responsive and professional. We were delighted to find (we hadn't realized) that our estimate included the help of a designer, Dawn, who helped us identify numerous creative and cost-effective solutions that helped us make the most of our limited space within budget. My wife and I had an exceptionally good experience working with Smiley on a bump-out addition to our house. They designed and built us a new kitchen and second-story bedroom. We are delighted with the results. They finished the work on time, which given the challenges of working in D.C. was unexpected. The overall cost of the project was higher than we initially budgeted for, but there were no surprises, and we discussed everything with the designer and the GC from day one, which made a big difference. One of the things we were most happy about working with Smiley was how well our GC communicated with us throughout the project. We always felt we knew what was going on, and any changes to the schedule that had to be made. They listened and responded to our concerns. We would definitely recommend them.
