Trescott: An Exterior Upgrade
More Than Curb Appeal
The owners loved their neighborhood but since their 1960s home had no porch, they had limited ability to enjoy the outdoors. They wanted to not only add curb appeal, they dreamed of having a porch that could serve as another room and let them take in their leafy, social neighborhood. The results of our transformation of their exterior porch exceeded their expectations.

Custom and high-end details
With its barrel-vaulted ceiling portico and large 10 x 12-foot side porch, the new design offers coverage from the elements and plenty of space to relax with friends. The airy nature of the porch makes it easy to have conversations with neighbors walking by.
The barrel-vaulted ceiling, custom iron railings, gabled roof, composite posts and molding give the home a high-end look that is welcoming and appealing from the street.

By tying in brick piers, installing shutters, and painting the door to match, the new porch blends in well with the house and gives the appearance of always being there. The custom metal railings are true to the style of homes built in the area in the 1950s and 60s.
