Yuma Kitchen Renovation
A mix of traditional and contemporary styles

Traditional with some spunk
The family envisioned a spacious and suitable kitchen for family meals in their new addition in Northwest DC. Spanning 15 by 18 feet, this kitchen serves as the heart of the home, seamlessly connecting the newly designed dining and family areas.

A space for everyone and everything
At the center of this culinary space is a 37-square-foot island, perfect for meal preparation or enjoying a casual snack, complete with convenient outlets tucked under the countertop. A harmonious blend of stainless steel appliances and champagne bronze cabinet fixtures sets an upscale tone. The perimeter cabinets, finished in a soft cream gray and styled in the classic Shaker design, add warmth. Meanwhile, the striking blue island, crisp white pendant lights, and black trim on the windows and doors infuse a contemporary flair, enhancing this kitchen's allure.

Ample space for friends and family
Designed with an open concept, the combined kitchen, dining, and family rooms create an inviting atmosphere perfect for entertaining friends and family. The central island serves as the ultimate gathering spot for snacks and drinks, with plenty of seating to accommodate everyone comfortably.
