38th Street Renovation

Collaboration
As part of the home’s renovation, the living room was reimagined in close collaboration with our designer to create a space that feels open, bright, and welcoming. Large windows were emphasized to bring in natural light, while built-in shelving and a fireplace were strategically incorporated to provide both function and a focal point. Clean lines, a neutral color palette, and warm wood accents balance modern style with comfort, creating a polished and inviting atmosphere.

Designed to support everyday living
The kitchen renovation also benefited from this collaborative design approach, focusing on both light and functionality. White cabinetry, hardwood floors, and a spacious island anchor the space, while pendant lighting adds elegance and defines key areas. The layout was carefully planned to support everyday living and social gatherings, with natural light from windows and doors enhancing the connection between indoors and outdoors. Additional spaces, including a personal gym and a mudroom, were thoughtfully integrated to meet the family’s practical needs while maintaining the home’s cohesive design.

Blending style and practicality
Together, the renovated living, kitchen, and ancillary spaces demonstrate the impact of working with a Smiley Renovations designer. Every detail—from finishes and fixtures to spatial planning—was coordinated to create a cohesive, modern, and livable environment. The result is a home that blends style and practicality, where each space complements the other while supporting daily life, entertaining, and the family’s lifestyle needs.
