My wife and I had an exceptionally good experience working with Smiley on a bump-out addition to our house. They designed and built us a new kitchen and second-story bedroom. We are delighted with the results. They finished the work on time, which given the challenges of working in D.C. was unexpected. The overall cost of the project was higher than we initially budgeted for, but there were no surprises, and we discussed everything with the designer and the GC from day one, which made a big difference. One of the things we were most happy about working with Smiley was how well our GC communicated with us throughout the project.
